Erase watermarks, logos and clutter
A LaMa inpainting model that rebuilds the texture behind whatever you paint over — not a blur or a clone stamp.
Inpaint, not blur
The model regenerates the background so removed watermarks leave no smudge, smear or tell-tale patch.
Private by design
The model is downloaded to your browser and runs there. Your photos are never uploaded to a server.
Full resolution
The original is kept at its own size — only the painted area is repaired, pixel for pixel.
Free and unlimited
No account, no credits, no watermark and no daily cap. Clean up as many images as you like.
Why use WatermarkRemover
No upload
Your image stays on your device from start to finish — nothing is stored or queued on a server.
Works everywhere
Uses WebGPU when the browser supports it and falls back to WebAssembly when it does not.
You stay in control
Brush exactly the area to remove, undo a stroke, and keep every other pixel untouched.

FAQ
Is WatermarkRemover really free?
Yes. There is no account, no credit system and no watermark. Because the AI runs on your own device, there is no server cost per image — so we do not need to charge or cap usage.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. The image is decoded in your browser, processed by the model on your own CPU or GPU and exported locally. Your file never leaves your device.
What does “first run downloads the model” mean?
The AI model is about 200 MB. Your browser downloads it once and caches it, so the first image takes a little longer while later ones start instantly.
What kind of watermarks can it remove?
Logos, timestamps, captions and small semi-transparent watermarks work best, especially over fairly uniform backgrounds. Very large or high-contrast watermarks covering detailed areas are harder for any inpainting model.
Does it work on phones?
Yes — on mobile browsers the model runs on WebAssembly, which is slower than WebGPU on a desktop but still works. Keep the tab open while the model loads.
Which image formats can I use?
PNG, JPG and WebP up to 25 MB. The result is always exported as a PNG, which keeps the full detail of the original.
Can I use the result commercially?
The edited image is yours to use. You are responsible for having the rights to the original photo and for respecting any third-party rights attached to the watermark you remove.
